Maria Fomich: Jewelry

Maria Fomich graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art in Cleveland, Ohio, with a degree in Jewelry and Metal Arts. A local by heart and birth she pulls inspiration from the beauty she finds in nature, design, positivity, and culture. Whimsical in form, her work is expressive and often depicts a story of growth. Using traditional metalsmithing techniques from sweat soldering to cold joining she transforms raw mixed metals into art for the body. Her works are unique and inviting whether architectural or a direct impression of nature. Every year her work evolves into a more refined and cohesive collection than the year before; encouraging exploration and further growth as an artist.
